Golden Lane Housing (GLH) has a new Chair! At the December 2016 AGM, Louise Li was elected to the position of Chair by the GLH Board following the decision by Neil McCall to retire from the position after nine years’ excellent service to GLH.
Louise has been a trustee at GLH for over four years. She is a director of tax for a US Bank, based in London and serves on many internal boards. Louise has over 15 years of experience in international tax consulting within the financial and professional service industries. She has personal family experience of learning disability.
At the AGM, GLH also confirmed the appointment of new Trustee Stephen Jack. Stephen has been a Mencap trustee since 2014. He is a chartered accountant who, in his executive career, held senior management positions in a number of international financial services organisations.
Alastair Graham, director at GLH said, “We are delighted to welcome Louise into her new position as Chair and Stephen Jack as our new trustee. They both have a wealth of knowledge and experience of GLH and I’m really looking forward to working with them and the rest of the GLH Board.
We would like to thank Neil wholeheartedly for his service, he has been a fantastic Chair for over nine years. With his support GLH has been able to transform into a leading housing charity for people with a learning disability. Under his leadership, we have been able provide innovative solutions to house more people with a learning in accommodation suited to their needs.”
