iSmart launches first 2 products during BETT Show in the UK!

Excel, London, 25 January 2017 – The new app for children with learning difficulties was launched today during the BETT Show in London. iSmart Home and iSmart Class are the first 2 products that the Maltese software house is making available in the UK in order to help students read, learn and achieve their true potential.

The concept behind iSmart is of an inclusive solution that is a learning aid to all students whether they have challenges in learning or not. It brings together a variety of functions in one single app allowing users to follow what is happening in class, to read and spell better and to communicate with their teachers, parents, psychologists and other learning support assistants.

iSmart Home is a one-to-one version ideal for parents who wish to support their child in their learning journey. Its features include: text-to-speech and speech-to-text, diary, mind mapping, homework and materials. It retails at €2/month, or €20/year if paid in advance and has 14 days free trial.

iSmart Class contains all the features from iSmart Home plus timetable, reporting and messaging. This is a one-to-many version where one teacher has an overview of a full class of students. It can be also used within learning support groups, with dyslexia experts and psychologists during after school activities. iSmart Class is priced at €4/per student per month, or €40/per student per year if paid in advance. A 60 day free trial allows teachers to try this out before committing to pay.

iSmart is already being translated in Polish and Italian, and additional language and feature releases are scheduled for the coming months. Stay tuned on
